In 2004, SE3D offered 12 groups of UK animators free access to HP Labs’ experimental Maya® Rendering Service to produce a 3D short. In addition, participants received Maya® licenses and a programme of workshops, public events and industry mentoring.

A unique and exciting project, SE3D is pushing out the boundaries of contemporary animation.
