Activities on the course include:

> Creating animations using models, sequences of photos or scanned images or their own drawings - made either on paper or straight into the computer.

> Producing digital video movies - scripted, storyboarded, shot and edited by the young people and, in some cases, directing actors.

> Web design and computer gaming - both producing individual web sites, and working as a team to create an interactive web based game.

> Photography and digital image manipulation tuition. Visits to creative media companies, Further Education Colleges, and talks and demonstrations by practitioners about their work.

> Regular film screenings and discussion group.

> VJ and music workshops.

> Encouraging participants to take up work experience in the local media industries.
