Aims

It is a key aim of art + power to involve disabled artists in the running of the society. We try and involve disabled people as much as possible in all we do. art + power is a membership organisation every artist is encouraged to get involved in working together to realise our shared vision for the future.

To work together as a group to change the way disabled people are treated
To produce work of quality and take pride in our artistic processes
To develop our skills as artists and gain respect for our work
To demonstrate that disabled people can gain power and respect through the arts
To empower disabled people through the arts to play a fuller role in the life of their communities
To reach as many people as possible, for it to go all round the world
To achieve sustainability as a professional arts organisation
