Being in a Centre is like being shut in a small room
With loudspeakers all around,
I had to listen
To people who wanted me to hear them;
I couldn't turn them off.
But this isn't a picture for poetry
This is a real picture
And the voices are always there.
If I had my freedom
I'd knock the speakers down
I'd bash open the door
I'd use my own voice
And then people would listen.
