'Me (free our people)' by Sarah McGreevy

This was painted when Eddie Harvey, a disabled artist, was doing a residency with art + power. This was in the Strength to Strength exibition. Sarah had a "Free Our People" T shirt which she used to wear on disability rights marches in London. It’s about freeing women and men. They handed in a petition to 10 Downing Street. Sarah used to wear her protest T shirts for painting. She says she likes the picture and the work with art + power makes her more free.
