“These are allotments on the way to school. There is private property with barbed wire keeping you out. I saw a purple flower that I wanted to pick on the private property, but I wasn’t allowed in. I’ve painted me and my dad, with someone stopping us from going in. It gave me the idea for a poem and a film.”
