I have a big family in Liverpool and Bristol, and a lot of pictures are about them. I was born in Liverpool a long time ago. I have lots of nieces and nephews and they call me Aunty Joan. When I was painting in Liverpool with Marc Quinn they all came to see me. I have exhibited and sold a lot of my paintings. I also have some in my room. I get my ideas from my life. I have also written lots of poems about my family too.
