I like to do singing and plays with the Portway Players. We write and perform plays about our lives as disabled people. We want people to change their attitudes when they hear and see our stories. I like being on stage and using my body and sign language in performance and we’re all learning sign language so we can do it on stage.
I like working with new people, writing and learning new songs. I want to develop skills in deaf and non-deaf art, and learn about other ways of making art.
I am going to help run art + power.
