When I first started in about 1997 I sketched in a notebook and pencil to draw. As I got better at sketching I started painting and I was invited to come to the artists’ studios at Spike Island. I showed them my work, and joined Artists First.
I enjoy painting sea shores, views and portraits, and have had several exhibitions and sold many a picture. I also write some poetry.
