Solid Sound
Directed by Jo Hyde and Supernatural Studios

Based on the idea 'if sound could be crystallised or solidified, what would it look like?', SolidSound was animated using data collected from its original soundtrack, using Hyde's prototype 'soundtracker' software, developed as part of the project.

Joseph Hyde teaches Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University College and uses digital media to make sound and multimedia works. Supernatural is a London-based CG creative collective who produce work for the advertising broadcast, music, fashion and gaming industries.
