Joe Magee is an award-winning Bristol-based artist and filmmaker. He works in range of traditional and electronic media, especially printmaking and moving image works, experimenting with animation, video and interactive art.
To coincide with his exhibition Humming Paradise at Bristol's Centrespace Gallery from 15-27 May, Electric Cinema features a collection of Joe's rarely screened films and moving image works. The work featured spans ten years of commissions, personal and commercial projects and, like all of his prolific creative output, the work has a consistently strong visual style with a witty and provocative sensibility.
