Katrina Horne
Katrina Horne is an installation, video and movement artist in Bristol. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, US; ranked No. 1 Graduate School. Her practice includes collaborative and curatorial projects.
Commissions include the Art Institute of Chicago, US and Arnolfini, Watershed and Chapter, UK. She has received awards from the Illinois Arts Council, British Council and Arts Council England, and numerous scholarships to enable her to complete her studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
She has recently been an Invited Artist with SVA (Stroud Valley Artspace) showing in the Site07 Festival, Stroud, and came 2nd for the Derbyshire Award at the Museum in the Park, Stroud.
She has worked with a range of artists on collaborative projects including:
Anne Carlson (US), Lucy Cash from Goat lsland (US), Retina Dance Company (Belgium), Kira O'Reilly (UK), members from Lucky Pierre (US) and Cuppola Bobber (US) and Plan B Performance (D). Work in collections includes Fado, Canada and the Live Arts Development Agency, London, UK.
Katrina is an Usher and also works in the Events Department at Watershed.
